This program is designed to prepare students for the transition to continued education in a fire fighting program, and/or future employment in the fire science field. Students will learn technical and manipulative skills in fire behavior, turnout gear use, self-contained breathing apparatus, fire hose and appliances, forcible entry, and rescue. Students will train 2-3 days a week at a local fire department.
